Using Essential Oils to Balance Your Chakras

using essential oils to balance your chakras

Essential oils – we’ve all heard the rage about them, but what can you do with essential oils? How can essential oils connect with physical therapy? Well, you can use therapeutic grade essential oils to help balance the subtle energy of the body at centers known as chakras. There are certain oil blends that are better at balancing these energy centers and allows you to open up the center so it’s flowing easily. When our bio-energy flows in our body, rather than being stuck, we feel healthy and balanced…physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Read below about which scents could help you balance your chakras. *Please note that I will be discussing Young Living’s essential oils only because of their purity, their potency and therapeutic effects.

How exactly do you do use essential oils to balance your chakras?

Put a drop of therapeutic essential oil in your hand, rub it in your hand clockwise to activate it, and put it directly at the energy area you are targeting. Repeat as part of your daily routine. You may even try doing it 2-3 times a day.

Make sure you are using quality brand oils, like Young Living Oils. Remember, you may not like every scent. That’s okay! Essential oils are meant to create resonance in the cells of our body through their frequency, or energy. If an oil doesn’t smell good to you it just means that it’s creating dissonance, and it’s indicating that you have an emotional block that the oil can help with. In other words….you need it! The best thing to do is to use the oil, perhaps directly at the chakra, so that you can release the block. Adding an intention as you apply the oil makes it that much more powerful;  say a prayer, meditate, or just visualize a favorable outcome. Given time and patience, using these essential oils may help bring balance and calm to your life.
